At the 2018 Ramp Banquet, Absolute Home Health & Hospice celebrated three outstanding employees with an award of distinction.  Tina Englehart, OTR, Occupational Therapist;  Dee Pits, Authorization Specialist; and Pat Gailoto, RN, Director of Hospice  were recognized for their dedication to the wellbeing of our patients and exemplary leadership within our team.

Tina Engelhart, OTR | Occupational Therapist

Tina joined Absolute Home Health almost 18 years ago as an Occupational Therapist. Tina has been a leader on our therapy team and sets a wonderful example for her co-workers. As a therapist, she has helped thousands of patients achieve their goals of living in their home safely and independently. She provides her patients and their families with the tools and treatment they need to develop, recover, improve and maintain their level of function. Tina is an extremely skilled and knowledgeable therapist. She thinks out-side the box, is an excellent problem-solver and is a wonderful listener. Tina has been through many changes during her time with us. She has witnessed ups, and downs, and has never shied away from a challenge sent her direction. She participates on our Quality Team and provides consistent insight on how we can strive to make our agency better. Tina is a strong patient advocate. With her, our patients and their families know they have a partner in their road to recovery. We appreciate the time and energy Tina puts into her work and the outstanding care she provides to each patient.

Dee Pitts | Authorization Specialist

Dee began her career at Summit Acres Nursing Home in August of 1984. During this time, Dee wore more hats than anyone in the history of Summit Acres. She provided assistance in one form or another to every position in the building. After the transition to Altercare, Dee settled into the HRG position where she provided her fellow employees with the assurance and support they needed. In December of 2016, she left her role as the HRG of the nursing home and joined Absolute Home Health and Hospice as the Authorization Specialist. She brought with her years of knowledge, dedication and an amazing understanding of the healthcare industry. It is safe to say that Dee has mastered her new role.  Her attention to detail and unwavering work ethic has made a huge impact on our organization. She is a constant driving force and it is fair to say she is the type of person every manager strives to have on their team. Her future is bright at Absolute and I’m confident that she can tackle anything thrown her way.

Pat Galioto, RN | Director of Hospice

Pat Galioto is the Director of Hospice for Absolute Hospice. Pat came to our organization in November of 2015 and brought with her, over 20 years of hospice experience. She manages the clinical teams for our Canton and Independence offices. Under Pat’s leadership, we have had continued success with providing professional yet personal care and attention to our most vulnerable population. Pat is extremely involved with her patients and staff providing countless hours of time, commitment and attention to make sure our Hospice patients and their families are getting the very best care possible. Her job is never ending. Every day she is focused on improving our program and promoting the core values of our Hospice team. Pat has been a constant strength and a wonderful role model for our staff. She is intelligent, compassionate, empathetic and has an undeniable Hospice Heart. We are very proud and extremely lucky to have her work with us.
