Survey Season is Upon Us – ACHC Recertification

This year we enter our survey window for Absolute Skilled Home Health, Summit Acres Home Care, and Absolute Hospice. Because of our commitment to quality, patient satisfaction, and customer service, we have partnered with the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) to complete our re-certification survey for all of our agencies. Our overarching and consistent goal is to provide the best level of care to our patients and their families – and abiding by ACHC’s accreditation process helps us do that.

ACHC’s surveys ensure we are meeting and exceeding the Medicare Conditions of Participation (COP’s). The survey process will include an audit of personnel files and patient records, as well as in-home patient site visits with various disciplines.  

With an increased focus on survey preparedness, there will also be an increased emphasis on education. Our Supervisors are already actively reviewing current practices. Through their feedback, and education, we will enhance our reliance on proper procedures and protocol for patient care.  Our hope is to show the ACHC survey Team our commitment to a high level of patient care.
